Now that I am officially a Californian I decided to hit up my first fun-fly this past weekend in Sacramento. This great little event was lots of fun and I had the chance to meet some really great guys and make a few new friends.

After 10 years of living in the “Sunshine State” I am moving to the “Golden State” for a new beginning. I have an excellent opportunity ahead of me with a wonderful company and look forward to meeting new people and making new friends on the West Coast.
I will be based in the San Francisco Bay area which looks to have a huge heli population and tons of great flying fields. With that being said I bid farewell to Florida and so many wonderful people here. I will miss my friends at the TORCHS flying field but I will surely be back for the best Fun Fly in America…The Orlando Helicopter Blowout!

My buddy Rodney over at Infina-Ion is now making packs for the full range of Futaba radios and he sent me one for my 8FG-H radio. Although the stock Futaba 1700mah pack works fine, the new Infina-Ion is 2000mah and tends to drain a bit slower giving you more time between charges.
Many people have asked me about a 3D Helicopter School and where to find one, I’ve referred a number of people to someone else before deciding to get my own up and running! We have excellent local accommodations and the ability to travel anywhere in the country to teach our students.
